If you wish to make an appointment with a clinician please telephone 01538 752674 or attend the surgery from 8:30am.
You can also book appointments using our online booking system here (need link to appointment page) once you have registered for this facility with the receptionists.
Patients with a new problem wishing to be seen on the day need to telephone the surgery from 8:30am. If there are no appointments available and your problem is an emergency the receptionist will seek the duty doctor’s advice.
Certain appointment slots can be pre booked if you contact the surgery between 5:00pm and 6:00pm on a Monday and Tuesday for the following day. However, this service is only available when 2 doctors are on duty.
The doctors and nurses try to keep on time but inevitably some patient’s problems take more time than others. To help with the situation, we request that you discuss one problem per appointment. Please be assured that the doctors will be understanding and flexible if you feel that another problem needs to be addressed on the day.
The surgery issues appointment cards at the reception desk.
Please keep a record of advanced appointments made over the telephone and ensure you attend.
Failing to Attend
It is extremely important that you let the practice know if you are unable to attend your appointment so that it can be offered to someone else. The Practice policy is to write to patients who have failed to attend their appointments on more than 2 occasions and may ask them to come in to discuss how they can best manage their appointment in the future.
Should a patient not attend on 2 occasions within a 6 month period they will be asked to register with a new Practice.
